Job Summary
A research assistant will participate in a translational autism research project supported by the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH). This project aims to assess the efficacy of peptides as a new drug for autism, particularly in neuronal morphology and neural circuits during brain development. A research assistant provides support to graduate students by preparing reagents and performing experiments.

Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Neuroscience, Cell Biology. Ability to follow experimental protocols and reagent preparation recipes precisely Excellent communication skills with other lab members and the principal investigator Outstanding oral and written skills in EnglishPreferred Qualifications
Prior experience in animal l(mice) handling, and general molecular biological experiments.Physical Demands

This is a Part-Time temporary position classified as Non-Exempt. The offered pay is based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
