Duties and Responsibilities

Assist in reviewing and summarizing key AI applications in language learning from academic journals, conference proceedings, and industry reports. Help categorize AI tools by function, draft instructional guides, and contribute to website development for a repository. Systematically test AI tools for image or video creation such as Leonardo, DALL-E, Firefly, PixVerse or Veed Systematically test AI tools such as Mizou, Fliki, ChatGPT, and Twee for usability and effectiveness in language instruction. Document pros/cons and provide user feedback. Conduct pilot studies with instructors using the AI tools, collect feedback via surveys, and analyze responses. Assist in drafting a report summarizing findings, help design workshop slides, and prepare interactive activities.


Hourly Rate: is $31.37. 10-20 hours a week.

Work Mode: Remote.



Minimum Qualifications:
Understand, read and write Spanish and Italian (Intermediate level is sufficient) Have some experience with AI-generated platforms such as ChatGPT or Perplexity AI Have interest or experience to learn image creation with image generators such as Leonardo, DALL-E or Firefly Have interest of experience to learn video creation with PixVerse or Veed Be able to create illustrations, and assist in designing visual content Strong written communication and organizational skills Preferred Qualifications: Job Family: Eugene Lang College of Liberal Arts Posting Date: 08/19/2025 Closing Date: Open Until Filled Yes Supplemental Questions
