Research Assistant
Description We are looking for a dedicated Research Assistant to join our team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This temp-to-hire position offers an opportunity to contribute to the preparation and analysis of zoning reports while collaborating with municipalities. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and proficiency in various software tools. This role is 100% Onsite in OKC! Responsibilities: • Prepare comprehensive zoning reports and ensure accuracy in documentation. • Draft and maintain clear and precise correspondences with municipal authorities and other stakeholders. • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat for document creation, editing, and formatting. • Apply mapping tools such as Google Earth and GIS applications to support research and reporting. • Analyze data and provide actionable insights to enhance the quality of zoning reports. • Manage timelines effectively to meet deadlines and project milestones. • Organize and maintain files and records to ensure easy accessibility and compliance. • Collaborate with team members to foster a cohesive work environment. • Conduct scanning and shipping functions as needed to support project deliverables. • Adapt work schedules to accommodate urgent tasks and shifting priorities. Requirements • High School Diploma or equivalent is required. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in preparing zoning reports and working within industry standards. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. • Familiarity with Google Earth and GIS mapping tools. • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders. • Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks with precision. • Excellent analytical skills to interpret data and produce meaningful reports. • Must possess visual acuity sufficient for reviewing printed materials and digital screens.
