Facility:Dayton Children's - Main CampusDepartment:Nursing Administration - Emergency ServicesSchedule:Full timeHours:40Job Details:The Research and Quality Improvement Coordinator is a nurse who demonstrates expertise in pediatric emergency nursing that has been further developed through Master’s preparation in nursing. They have accountability and responsibility for promoting professional growth, nursing expertise, and progressive practice and improving patient outcomes in Emergency Services. In addition, they oversee the development, implementation and management of research and quality improvement projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and facilitating successful study implementation and outcomes. They would help develop nursing practice by focusing on the most current evidence-based practice guidelines to keep staff and our processes up to date.
This individual would also collaborate with the Fellowship coordinator for all research and investigative studies led by the Fellows.

Education
+ MSN in Nursing required
+ Graduation from an accredited program of nursing required
Experience
+ 5 years of nursing experience required
+ 3 years of pediatric emergency room experience required
Certifications
+ RN Licensure in State of Ohio required
+ CPR and PALS certifications required
+ TNCC and ENPC required
+ Professional certification within 3 years of hire required
