Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative individual to join our team as an R&D and Regulatory Specialist. This role is ideal for someone passionate about formulation science, compliance, and continuous learning. You will be deeply involved in the full product lifecycle from concept to creation, working hands-on at our manufacturing facility.
ResponsibilitiesCollaborate on the development and refinement of cosmetic formulations, including batching and managing raw materials.Lead regulatory and compliance efforts across all stages of product development.Innovate and iterate on existing formulas while contributing to the creation of new products.Work closely with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure alignment with product goals and regulatory requirements.Participate in cross-functional meetings to understand the rationale behind each product decision and process.Maintain accurate documentation and records for regulatory submissions and audits.Stay current with industry trends, ingredients, and regulatory changes.Essential SkillsExpertise in chemistry, formulation, and laboratory practices.research and development, regulatory compliance, and analytical chemistry.Experience with raw materials, batching processes, and bench chemistry.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in formulation (training available for the right candidate). research and compliance, preferably within the cosmetic industry.Curiosity and a growth mindset, with a readiness to learn new things every day.Prior experience in the cosmetic or personal care industry is preferred.Familiarity with FDA, EU, and other international cosmetic regulations.Work Environment

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Olive Branch, Mississippi.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
