Research Analyst/Associate: Non-Agency RMBS & CLO New York, New York **Job Description:** The analyst would have the opportunity to work in a team has been ranked 1st multiple years in a row in various investor surveys. Since 2021, the RMBS, CLO & Securitized Products team have been ranked 1st in the Institutional Investors Survey Rankings for multiple years in a row, 1st by Global Capital, 1st in Creditflux, LSTA/DealCatalyst and other surveys. Research Analysts are responsible for monitoring market statistics, conducting primary research individual sectors they cover, writing franchise pieces and servicing institutional clients. Sample responsibilities and projects include: + Conducting in-depth sector and market research on Housing, Corporate Credit and mortgage trends + Track borrower performance in RMBS & CLO deals, track issuance trends in the sector & highlight pertinent observations + Perform statistical analysis using SQL, analyze collateral quality metrics and cash flow distributions to formulate broad-based market recommendations + Publishing sector updates on a regular basis and assist teams in producing weekly, monthly, and quarterly research publications + Prepare presentation/marketing materials for senior associates/clients on an ad-hoc basis + Initiating and building relationships with clients and within the bank to develop a network of contacts appropriate to the industry, country or asset market covered + Visit & discuss strategies in Client meetings and respond to requests on data, strategy and market insights **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience (Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or Finance background not necessary but a plus) + SQL or Excel skills or prior experience with similar data processing languages a plus + Good written and verbal communication skills + Strong attention to detail; exercise strong quality control over own work + Ability & willingness to work hard! **Shift:** 1st shift (United States of America) **Hours Per Week:** 40 Bank of America and its affiliates consider for employment and hire qualified candidates without regard to race, religious creed, religion, color, sex, sexual orientation, genetic information, gender, gender identity, gender expression, age, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, protected veteran or disability status or any factor prohibited by law, and as such affirms in policy and practice to support and promote the concept of equal employment opportunity, in accordance with all applicable federal, state, provincial and municipal laws.
