The YETI Lab (www.yetilab.pitt.edu), under the supervision of Dr. Leslie Horton, is seeking a full-time Res Project Coordinator to assist with study visits and participant recruitment for studies in the lab including the YETI Phone and ProCAN Studies, NIMH-funded projects examining risk factors for psychosis in adolescents and emerging adults at clinical high-risk for psychosis. YETI Phone examines threat dysregulation as a risk factor for psychosis and ProCAN, starting in fall of 2025, will examine medication-based treatment for young people at risk for psychosis.
The Res Project Coordinator will be responsible for conducting study visits and research procedures (e.g., clinical and cognitive assessments, EEG, fMRI, cardiac psychophysiology) with young people; assisting with project management and research tasks as needed, including phone screens.
This position is grant funded.
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate records of project spending and funds available. Coordinate the daily activities and special projects for department. Coordinate scheduling of assessments. Assist with quality assurance over all aspects of data collection and management, including data flow, data entry and verification, maintenance of all project databases, data security and confidentiality. Provides regular supervision for junior staff. Responsible for preparing and modifying IRB protocols, Regulatory Binders, and Standard Operating Procedures. Communicate effectively with the research, clinical, and administrative staff related to this research. Coordination of recruitment ie. Advertisements, tracking recruitment, and developing strategies to increase response in targeted populations. Responsible for the submission of regular reports detailing the progress of the research, including NIH progress reports.
