Job DescriptionFrom AECOM EC Europe we are looking for a profile with experience in requirements management, preferably in the railway environment.
We need to expand our team with a resource with experience in Systems Engineering, who has a global vision of the projects, understanding the life cycle of a system and coordinating the necessary processes to define the requirements management strategy effectively.
From the SESA team of AECOM EC Europe, we work to give consistency and quality to the projects that our fellow designers develop. We manage, from a technical point of view, what the customer's needs are and how all the established requirements can be managed to give integrity, safety, reliability and consistency to each project. Our mission is to support the projects, both technically and at a management level, to ensure traceability between the parties reaching the final goal required by our clients, interconnecting the stakeholders and collaborating in the reduction of inconsistencies and rework.
Team description: Within AECOM EC Europe, our team focuses on Systems Engineering & Systems Assurance, as part of the Rail Systems department. We work on large international projects, developing the design in environments ranging from stations, railway lines, airports, technical buildings, metros, trams and much more.
Tasks description:
The candidate should be able to develop key documents such as “Requirements Management Plan”, "Requirements Matrices" and any support to ensure the compliance with the Requirements tasks as per client contract.Management and leadership of the tasks associated to Requirements management and knowledge of requirements management tools (DOORS or similar).The Requirements Manager must establish strategies, identify needs and coordinate their management throughout the life cycle of each project, working together with the rest of the SESA disciplines (RAM, Safety, Interfaces Management, System Architecture, Human factors, etc.) and the design team.QualificationsHere’s what we’re looking for:
Basic knowledge of rail systems (Power, Catenary, MEP, track, substations, etc.),Ability to decompose client needs from high level to subsystem/equipment level requirements,Meeting leadership capabilities,Ability to coordinate teams of different nationalities,Adaptability to collaborate in multicultural teams,High level of English, spoken and written.10 years of experience in similar rolesPreferred qualifications: Bsc. /Msc. Industrial Engineer or similar.
