What you can expect
System and product definition according with development methods and safety standards used and defined by Magna (focus on quality assurance).
Support definition of specific requirements and architectures together with Development & Engineering groups.
Support in the RFI (request for information) process for customer requests from the systems engineering point of view.
Implement and maintain the traceability of the internal requirements with the customer’s requirements.
Support for breakdown and refine of the requirements of the product needed by the development disciplines teams (e.g.: Software, Hardware, Mechanical).
Control and perform reviews for getting the agreement of all stakeholders (internal and external) for the system requirements.
Communication, organization, planning and interacting with internal work teams and project stakeholders (internal and external).
Management of requirements in respective tools.
Management of integration requirements for ADAS components interacting with other vehicle ECUs in customer projects.
What you'll bring
Bachelor/Master Degree of electrical engineering, computer science or similar
3-5 years of experience in development as software/hardware or systems engineer or feature/function owner.
Background in design, developing and testing of products within the automotive industry.
Familiarity with automotive standards such as ISO 26262, ISO 21434, and ASPICE.
Technical understanding of software, electrical, mechanical and verification/validation domains
Ability to apply advanced technical principles, theories and concepts in the development of systems.
Familiarity with program schedule/timing development.
Experience with defect issue management systems/tools and change management systems/tools.
Knowledge of quote process conformance and risk management methodology & practices
Knowledge of Stakeholder and System requirements review process.
Communication skills such as Coaching.
Leadership skills such as managing a team, coordinating activities within a Cross Functional Team
