Our Opening and Your ResponsibilitiesHolds strong analytical skillsCommunicate efficiently and clearly with team and customersEmploy various techniques like VOC, interviews, surveys, observations to collect and validate requirements from customers/internal stakeholders.Have a good understanding of non-functional requirements, cybersecurity; work with tech leads and architects. Works efficiently in an international environment with a multicultural teamHigh degree of proficiency in English language – both written and spokenGood working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Experience in requirements management tools, Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools required. Experience in Polarion is a plus. Ability to create and maintain technical documentation and reports, generate simple schedules and analyze large volumes of dataStrong interpersonal skills and team spirit with ability to communicate effectively and establish good working relationships Familiar with and can use design thinking techniquesConversant with agile software development processes / methodologies
Education / experience:
BE / B.Tech / M.E / M. TechMinimum experience of 8 - 10 years with at least five years of requirements management
Travels:
Up to 10% regional and/or international travel for customer visits participation and team meetingsWhat You Need to SucceedThe Senior Requirements Engineer analyses market requirements of particular customer applications around weighing solutions in the Industry, prepares specification documentation and consults these requirements with both: product management and the project development teams. This contains also analysis against regulations and competition, as well as support to further prioritization and development cost efficiency. This contains but is not limited to the responsibility for suitable RSD (Requirements Specification Documentation) and other product specification preparation. RE needs to secure his smooth cooperation with all project-related stakeholders, especially Product Manager, Project Manager and Development Team. On the organizational level, cooperation with relevant markets representatives constitutes additional value and allows for successful RE role. The RE supports that applications are best in class, allow high usability and productivity.The Requirements Engineer closely supports the Global Product Manager in defining the future solution’s roadmap. In-depth understanding of the customer workplaces, underlying customer pains and market trends are essential foundations of the role.
Duties and Main Tasks:Analyze and clearly describe product requirements. Translate product requirements into software implementation details (requirements specification documentation)Manage requirements for software-centric solutions used alongside weighing processes, typically for industrial area (mainly pharmaceutical, chemical and food manufacturing). Ensure requirements are fully documented, traceable and in line with requirements management planManage both functional and non-functional requirementsValidate requirements with respect to Stakeholder RequirementsReview Requirements with teamEvaluate and ensure that the deliverable meets the acceptance criteria by proper testing techniques.Provide status reports for requirements captured, validation and verificationCreate and maintain product specification documents for internal and customer approvalParticipate as a team member in Agile scrum deliveries.
