Job Title: Requirements Engineer
Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Requirements Engineer who excels at translating user needs into testable software requirements. The ideal candidate will lead and coach users in defining their needs while being an expert in software and systems life cycle controls for both waterfall and Agile methodologies. This role requires expertise in system deliverables, including documenting requirements (User & System), software classification, risk assessment, and V&V Plans/Reports. Candidates must be knowledgeable in Quality Systems used for ISO and FDA compliance and possess excellent technical writing skills.

ResponsibilitiesTranslate user needs into clear, testable software requirements.Lead and coach users in defining their requirements.Document system deliverables such as User and System requirements, software classification, risk assessment, and V&V Plans/Reports.Ensure compliance with ISO and FDA standards in software and systems life cycle controls.Provide expertise in both waterfall and Agile methodologies.Essential SkillsExpertise in systems engineering, software validation, and software quality.Strong requirement documentation skills.Excellent understanding and working knowledge of ISO/IEC standards.Previous experience as a Requirements Engineer.Understanding of V&V to write testable requirements.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in environments that have implemented ISO/IEC standards.Demonstrated ability to transform customer input into user requirements.Familiarity with project/program management as it relates to requirements engineering.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr.
