Your Team's Impact

In this team you will be working with our sophisticated financial software solution for Performance Measurement and Attribution. You will be the essential link between investment professionals and FactSet’s software. Combining a thorough understanding of finance and technology with specific expertise in FactSet software, consultants help clients streamline the research and analysis process. As part of this fantastic team, you will offer an unparalleled level of service along with insight into the intricacies and functionality of FactSet applications.

What You'll Do

Responsible for automating a client environment, designing complex workflows, covering the full flow of financial data in our software – data loads, data checks, calculations, data extracts and reporting.Become familiar with all the functionalities of the product, including the different modules and methodologies but is more focused on its technical aspects such as: System Architecture, Application Server setup, Database and SQL tuning, Web Services.Analyzing and solving complex technical issues related to a client’s technical architecture, processing data, conducting specific investigations, including software testingWorking with our global team of sales specialists and consultants, as well as interacting with our clients supporting them in their daily operationsBecome familiar with all the core functionality of the product and understand the financial logic behind the different modules and financial methodologiesHelp integrate our different systems within a common platform using APIs, Web Services and different automation, scheduling and monitoring tools. This can involve the use of programming, scripting, database languages. 

What We're Looking For

Required Skills

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or Mathematics.2+ years of professional experience in relevant fieldSQL and Database experienceSysadmin, experience in programming or scripting languages e.g. shell, Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, VBA, etc.Good communication skills in client-facing situations

Desired Skills

Knowledge of financial instruments or related softwareAny experience in Financial Reporting or Reporting or Business Intelligence SystemsTechnical skills with financial software applicationsWorking with Excel and financial formulasAcademic or professional background in finance or experience in the Asset Management Financial industryAny knowledge of financial products and instrumentsLinux/Windows System Administration, Networking, Virtual Machines and shell scriptingApplication server setup (e.g. Tomcat, JBoss/WildFly)Additional language skills e.g. French would be advantageous
