This is an exciting opportunity to join McCain’s Global Sustainability team and help accelerate our journey toward planet-friendly food. You will lead and enhance McCain’s global sustainability reporting strategy, playing a pivotal role in shaping how we measure, manage, and communicate our sustainability performance and impact.

What you'll be doing.
Lead project management for McCain’s annual Sustainability Report, ensuring accurate storytelling of our performance through data and insights, while coordinating across functions such as Finance, Procurement, Agriculture, HR, and Communications.
Manage and oversee data collection for sustainability targets and KPIs, aligned with external reporting standards (e.g., GRI), by partnering with subject matter experts across our five sustainability pillars: Smart & Sustainable Farming, Resource Efficient Operations, Good Food, Thriving Communities, and Strong Foundations.
Prepare for and manage compliance with global regulatory reporting requirements, notably the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the Australian Sustainability Reporting Standard (AASB).
Monitor evolving sustainability reporting legislation and proactively adapt processes.
Lead submissions for global benchmarks and industry surveys, including CDP and WBA.
Manage internal sustainability reporting requirements, including updates to the Board and Steering Committees.
Support the Commercial team with customer and stakeholder sustainability reporting requests.
Drive sustainability data governance and controls, improving auditability through standard operating procedures and enhanced processes.
Collaborate with Data & Technology teams on the implementation of sustainability data software.
Conduct research and benchmarking reviews on peer and competitor reporting.
What you'll need to be successful.
5+ years of experience in corporate sustainability reporting and/or communications.
In-depth knowledge of global sustainability reporting frameworks (GRI, TCFD, ISSB, CDP) and regulatory requirements (CSRD, CSDDD, AASB).
Proven track record in corporate communication report development; external assurance experience is a plus.
Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills; ability to juggle multiple initiatives and meet deadlines.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, build performance narratives, and distill complex insights with precision.
Strong understanding of environmental and social sustainability topics, including climate change risk.
Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy and reliability in reporting.
About the team.
Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Global Sustainability, you will collaborate with global, regional, and commercial teams to lead sustainability disclosures and manage external reporting requests in line with growing ESG requirements. You will also play a key role in supporting regional and commercial stakeholders on material sustainability topics.

Compensation Package: $81,600.00 - $108,900.00 1.00 CAD annual base salary equivalency, paid in alignment to contract term
The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education and training, and other organizational needs.
