Job DescriptionYou & Your Role

Every day, you make a valuable contribution to realizing Rabobank’s strategic ambitions. With the insights you define and help develop as a Reporting Business Analyst—together with Business (Control)—the bank’s management can make data-driven decisions. You work within the CFO domain in the Tribe Business Intelligence and Analytics, the central reporting hub for performance, risk and management accounting for the entire Rabobank Group. Within this Tribe, we collaborate in an Agile way, continuously achieving results and improvements in individual Squads. You combine your passion for data and excellent analysis skills with knowledge of banking processes to generate the right insights for internal steering.
 

Examples from PracticeYou are involved in creating complex data analyses for both structural and ad-hoc requests. For example insights into the balance sheet and P&L of the Rabobank Group, progress on KPIs for MB members and their respective MTs, or insights into financial results per customer group.This squad not only handles KPI reporting but also maintains an information factory that monitors the bank’s complex commercial real estate portfolio.You serve as a key sounding board for the design of management information. For example, you may advise on KPIs for steering Retail NL and Rabobank Group.You are the connecting link between Business and IT. You write user stories based on internal stakeholders’ needs, which are then realized by development in the reporting data and dashboard landscape. You validate this with stakeholders and ensure implementation.You work in an international environment with all the diversity, opportunities, and possibilities that entails.By working closely with a broad group of colleagues both within and outside the Tribe, you continuously develop yourself.

The Squad MB & KPI Reporting within Tribe BI&A combines forces to contribute to achieving Rabobank’s objectives. The squad develops and maintains standard dashboards for all MTs within the bank where Control provides advice. In this role, you’ll have frequent contact with other departments within Rabobank, including Business Control, Risk, CITO, other Tribes, and Sales Management. For the commercial real estate portfolio views you work closely together with Sales, Portfoliomanagement and Credit Monitoring. We’re curious to see what you’ll bring to our team. You & Your Talent

It goes without saying that collaboration, customer focus, and analytical skills are essential for this role as Reporting Business Analyst. In addition, it’s important that you recognize yourself in the following checklist:

Demonstrable higher professional/university level of thinking and working (HBO/WO)At least 3 years of experience as a data analyst and capable of analyzing complex datasets using SQLPreferably experience with performing financial analysesYou are proactive and curious, a go-getter who is result-oriented

For this role, a salary in scale 8 or 9 applies. This will be determined further based on the interviews and depends on your education, experience, and a comparison with employees working in the same role/scale.
