ABOUT THE ROLE

The Avalon DC supports the Australian business across all channels for stores, online and wholesale. With forward thinking operating practices and some of the best equipment and facilities in the industry, this is an opportunity to impact a world class facility and team.

The role of Team Leader will help manage high performing teams to deliver an efficient, safe and accurate job that meets our customer’s needs. This is a great opportunity for team members who are looking to progress within the business and take on more responsibilities out on the floor. We're looking for real team players, people who role-models and coaches the team on safe and appropriate behaviours. You are comfortable in having the right conversation with team members to ensure performance expectations are being met to ensure the team is meeting it's operational commitments. The development and growth of our people is a key priority for you and you will work with team members to ensure they are supported to deliver the best outcomes for themselves and the business. You will be in charge of coordinating your team, tasks, recourses and equipment to deliver accurate and efficient performance. The safety of our team is our number one priority, as such you will role-model and coach your team on safe behaviours as well as responding to, reporting and investigating any hazards, near-misses or incidents.

You will be a member of the Day Shift Replenishment Team, reporting to the Optimisation Manager and will support your peers and team to deliver our strategic goals. This is a full time role during our dayshift and operates Monday-Friday.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
