The Repair Technician supports the Brightstar Field Service team in providing in-house repair and maintenance of equipment, inventory management and delivery of equipment. They will be part of our award-winning lottery and gaming services organization. Brightstar employees receive the following employment benefits (all benefits mentioned are subject to policy and eligibility requirements): + Medical benefits day one of being an Brightstar employee + 12 paid holidays plus 2 floating holidays per year + 3 weeks of paid vacation per year, prorated first year + 401K with employer match and 100% vested day one + Company paid parental leave, life insurance, short term disability and long-term disability + Gym membership reimbursement, free identity theft protection, and tuition reimbursement **Responsibilities** Performs a variety of duties related to the troubleshooting and repair of terminals down to the component level and boards, under general supervision. + Tests equipment to determine cause of failure. + Uses schematics and/or technical manuals in the repair/maintenance of terminal boards, etc . + Component level troubleshooting of PC boards and sub-assemblies using oscilloscope, multi- meter, etc. + Maintains log of incoming and outgoing terminals and repairs using data entry work station. + Inspects terminal, circuits, etc. for damage. + Cleans interior/exterior of terminal, boards, etc. + Assists field service technicians with terminal related problems or in obtaining necessary supplies. + Maintains terminals used in agent training as needed. + Operates various equipment/machines including computer, oscilloscope, multi- meter, forklift, etc. + Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. **Qualifications** + Associates Degree in Electronics preferred. + One or more years of related work experience. + Must be able to frequently lift up to 40 pounds. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $43,680 - $51,792. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable. Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses.
