Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Mount components onto PCBs according to schematics and assembly instructions.
Performing hand soldering, reflow soldering, and potentially other soldering techniques.
Ensuring correct orientation, placement, and alignment of components.
Inspecting finished solder joints for quality and adherence to workmanship standards.
Identifying and resolving issues with solder connections and component placement.
Maintaining records of assembly, component usage, and quality control.
Using hand tools and measuring tools.
Adhering to SMT process instructions and quality standards.
Thru-hole and surface mount soldering
Adhering to safety protocols and regulations, especially in areas requiring ESD protection.
Pre and final testing of repairs
Qualifications:
Can read and understand simple product instructions.
Pro-active; problem-solving; detail oriented.
Has a pleasant, patient, and friendly attitude.
Basic written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.).
Scheduling: Employee will be required to work 40 hours per week. Monday through Friday is the work schedule; however, Saturday hours may be required according to the needs of the business.
Target Base Salary: $14/hr
