The R&M Technician III role undertakes hands-on tasks and utilizes Weatherford's facilities, equipment, machinery, and systems. The role applies techniques and practices to complete the scope of tasks covering inspection, repair, and maintenance of field tools, preparing them for their next assignment. Tasks will span the entire process from receiving the tools, dismantling, repairing, and refurbishing using technical manuals, procedures, and technical work instructions. While this is a generic job description covering the different levels of the R&M Technician position, all aspects of the roles and responsibilities are relevant. More senior roles lead and oversee tasks carried out by other R&M employees.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably with Fishing Jars/Drilling Jars Technical degree preferred High School Diploma required Basic computer proficiency Disassemble, inspect, clean, repair, and reassemble tools and equipment. Use tools, lifting equipment, and machinery according to certifications. Handle incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate documentation. Maintain workshop cleanliness and safe working conditions. Use work orders, checklists, and documentation systems (e.g., WO labor log, PFTs, AIRTs). Troubleshoot and implement corrective actions. Support continuous efficiency improvement programs and LEAN initiatives. Senior roles may lead workshop operations, assign tasks, and conduct inspections
