**About the Role:**
Under limited supervision, upholds the integrity of real estate portfolio data for large, complex portfolio of clients. Inputs, maintains, organizes and reports on information regarding lease dates, dollar values and financial accounting transactions into a lease management software database. Prepares, processes and reconciles AR & AP transactions to ensure accurate and current lease information is maintained.
**What You’ll Do:**
+ Assist in executing due diligence of transactions as well as monitoring and forecasting investments.
+ Reviews incoming invoices for errors/accuracy with lease document and ensures correct GL coding and profit center.
+ Tracks payables and receivables associated with the leases in portfolio. Processes client rent rolls utilizing the database. Prepares export files and sends to accounting for payables processing.
+ Writes narratives for monthly variance reports, providing analysis and interpretation of lease information to clients. Resolves critical issues for clients by researching and gathering information about payment transactions, lease terms and other relevant items. Establishes and maintains working relationship with clients and/or landlords.
+ Performs annual operating expense reconciliations, monitors audit windows and audit requirements contained in the lease documents.
+ Prepares and distributes periodic and ad hoc reports in a timely, accurate manner.
+ Tracks audit savings by client and verify that all savings have been accurately recorded.
+ Coordinating payments related matters to client and vendors.
+ Maintains vendor/customer setup in the database.
**What You’ll Need:**
+ High school degree or general education degree required plus a minimum of two years related work experience, preferably including property management or accounting. Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university with Accounting, Finance or Real Estate preferred.
+ Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles.
+ Ability to calculate complex figures and conduct financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports.
+ Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
+ Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
+ Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
