This role focuses on ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards while optimizing the rendering departments growth and function  Responsibilities:• Oversee plant operations to meet stringent food safety standards and regulatory requirements. • Develop, implement, and monitor protocols, ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal guidelines. • Manage third-party sanitation service providers, ensuring compliance with contract terms and performance expectations. • Conduct risk assessments, identify growth improvement opportunities, and prioritize corrective actions. • Maintain and update the schedule and hiring to ensure all scheduled tasks are completed effectively. • Prepare and present performance reports and documentation to plant leadership. • Ensure proper implementation of safety procedures, including lockout/tagout protocols, during all activities. Qualifications and Requirements:• Proven experience in sanitation management within a food manufacturing in pork or beef.• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to conduct detailed facility inspections and risk assessments. • Proficiency in documenting and communicating rendering processes and results. • Familiarity with all equipment, chemical handling, and safety procedures. Benefits and Perks:• Competitive base salary of $87,500 plus possible bonuses  • Comprehensive health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. • Opportunities for advancement and professional development. Your New Organization:Join an industry leader committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
