Job Description

As a Remote Service Engineer for Image Guided Therapy at Philips, you will provide exceptional technical support through remote diagnostics and on-site support to both our internal and external customers as well as field partners.  You will combine your technical, networking and customer interaction skills utilizing the latest remote access technologies to assist healthcare customers, ensuring customer satisfaction while maintaining our business targets. You are preferably located in Oslo, Stockholm or Copenhagen.  

You are responsible for:

Provide excellent customer service by acting as a Philips Representative, responding to inquiries, and offering telephone and remote technical support.

Leverage Philips tools and resources to resolve customer service events, and escalate product issues for higher-level evaluation and action when necessary.

Support the local service organization and oversee the follow-up and monitoring of service jobs, including performing security updates.

Foster cooperation with customers and within Philips, ensuring familiarity with technological advances that impact Philips products, and sometimes travel to work onsite at customer locations.

Enhance productivity by using remote tools and technical expertise, implementing best practices, improving processes, diagnosing problems, and applying effective solutions with appropriate follow-up actions.

You're the right fit if:

You hold a university-level technical education, such as a BSc or equivalent, in medical technology.

You has min. 3-5 years of professional engineering experience in medical technology, specifically in imaging systems and X-ray.

You have experience in providing technical remote support and excel at troubleshooting, logical thinking, and crafting technical solutions.

You demonstrate strong time management skills and interpersonal abilities, effectively communicating with teams and customers while collaborating in team environments.

You are fluent in Norwegian and English (must), with proficiency in other Nordic languages as an advantage.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
