REMOTE Senior SEABEE Diver (Part-time)
Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with technical support centers in South East Asia and East Africa, that provide program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world. We are seeking an experienced Senior SEABEE Diver to support the development and enhancement of advanced underwater inspection systems. This part-time, primarily remote role involves extensive experience in underwater inspection and preparation of detailed technical documentation. Occasional travel within the United States will be required. Key Responsibilities: + Assist in the design, testing, and refinement of underwater inspection systems. + Assis in the preparation development of specific protocols to perform the inspection utilizing Remote operating Vehicle (RoV) + Inspection of structure, vessel and inspection of structure that has not been defined (vessel , piles, planes, UFO etc) + Assist in the development of inspections protocols for underwater structure, emphasizing the reduction of divers exposure + Collaborate with global engineering and project teams to ensure accuracy and quality of deliverables. Qualifications to be successful in the role: + Former U.S. Navy SEABEE Diver or equivalent military/commercial diving background with strong analytical and inspection experience. + Knowledge of underwater inspection methodologies and related technologies. + Extensive diving experience needed, diver certification preferred + Strong technical writing and documentation skills. + Ability to work independently in a remote environment with occasional U.S. travel.
