Description Robert Half Legal is partnering with an innovative, mission-driven nonprofit organization that develops purpose-built software solutions tailored to the unique needs of higher education institutions. Position Overview: We are seeking a Corporate Paralegal Generalist to provide comprehensive legal support to the organization’s operations. This fully remote, part-time position requires approximately 10 hours of work per week and offers a flexible schedule. The ideal candidate will have experience in contract review, legal analysis, research, and compliance, and will contribute to maintaining operational excellence in line with legal and industry standards. Key Responsibilities: + Contract Review: Assist with vendor and customer contract reviews, ensuring adherence to internal policies and legal standards. + Sales Proposal Support: Review terms and conditions in both sales proposals and responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs). + Legal Document Analysis: Review a variety of internal legal documents, including nondisclosure agreements (NDAs), partnership agreements, and other corporate contracts. + Legal Research: Conduct legal research on topics relevant to the organization’s operations, such as employment law, privacy regulations, and higher education-specific standards. + Policy Drafting: Assist in drafting or revising internal policies to ensure compliance with applicable laws and industry benchmarks. + Government Compliance: Prepare and file government forms or registrations required for compliance or licensing purposes. Requirements Requirements: + Proven experience as a corporate paralegal or legal generalist. + Strong skills in contract review, legal research, and document analysis. + Understanding of higher education regulations or familiarity with nonprofit operations is preferred, but not required. + Ability to work effectively in a remote setting while managing tasks independently with minimal supervision. + Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills. + Excellent written communication abilities for drafting policies and summarizing legal findings. + Proficiency in legal research tools and document management systems.
