REMOTE - Producer - Post Production
Job Description A large software and gaming company is looking for a REMOTE Producer - Post Production to join a growing team. This person will be responsible for tracking the “finishing” process of Video assets from one final English source file to hundreds of localized exports. You will be one of the last stops before video assets are posted online to millions of viewers. We are looking for individuals who excel in organization, have exceptional communication abilities, and are comfortable managing complex post-production timelines in a fast paced environment. The ideal candidates are passionate about working in video post-production and have a history of working within marketing environments. In this role you will ● Oversee the full lifecycle of post-production for localized video game marketing assets, including trailers, teasers, cutdowns and clips. ● Ensure all assets have gone through and passed appropriate quality control checks - sharing feedback as necessary. ● Estimate the time required to complete each task in the post-production versioning and localization process to ensure resourcing across multiple teams. ● Create tracking documentation per project for internal and external teams to manage full scope of deliverables per project. ● Coordinate with Marketing, Paid Media, Social and localization teams as needed to define video deliverable needs and delivery across all languages. ● Recognize and resolve problems and pivots inhibiting successful project outcomes either by working directly with team and stakeholders, or if unresolvable at that level, by escalating to your lead. Skills and Requirements ● 3-6 yearsin Production in a Marketing or Advertising Post Production environment. ● High level understanding of editing software, video specifications and social media video best practices. ● Knowledge of localization and international versioning workflows. ● Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. ● Able to anticipate challenges, propose solutions, and keep projects on track in a fast-paced environment. ● Able to work independently to meet deliverables - and even find a more efficient path forward. ● Self-starter, you approach challenges creatively and methodically, exhibit amazing problem-solving skills daily to find resolutions. ● Have the ability to communicate with varying levels of stakeholders, within your team and throughout the company - accurately relaying notes and keeping the team up to date on status. ● You’re team focused and understand the importance of working together vs in silos. ● Personable– you are able to develop relationships with internal production teams and third-party vendors to foster excellent communication. ● Keen eye for details and the ability and willingness to QC hundreds of assets. Post production QC Marketing Advertising 40+ hours Remote - Any Location: You will regularly interact with creative producers, marketing/social/paid media stakeholders, assistant editors, editors, graphic artists, and external vendors. You will work closely with AEs when providing them with versioning directions and QCing the localized assets they create. You will communicate with creative producers regarding production schedules, legal details, and master deliverables. You will reach out to marketing/social/paid media stakeholders to confirm deliverable needs. You will work with finishing producers at vendors to receive final masters or localized deliverables. You will interact with external creative and versioning vendors. In some cases, you will communicate to receive master files. In other cases, you will work with external vendors who create final localized deliverable assets and will provide them with QC feedback when applicable. You will oversee the various stages of post-production for localized video marketing assets, including trailers, teasers, cutdowns, and clips. You will create deliverables documentation with regional and technical specifications for AEs and vendors who will create the localized deliverables. You will work with our localization department to receive translations and have localized assets QCed.
