Day in the Life of a Operations Manager - Specialty ServicesProgram Leadership and Oversight
End-to-end ownership of the Buy & Bill program, from pilot execution to enterprise-wide scale.
Serve as the program’s point of contact for internal team members and external partners, collaborating to build strong relationships with key stakeholders from operators to executives.
Establish, track, and deliver program success metrics; provide regular reporting to senior leadership.
Ensure program compliance with DEA requirements, manufacturer agreements, and payer contracts.
Drive continuous improvement through data quality evaluation, issue resolution, and best practice adoption.
Operational Execution:
Develop, implement, and maintain scalable workflows, SOPs, trainings, readiness assessments, and governance structures, balancing immediate execution with long-term planning.
Lead cross-functional working groups (MedOps, RCM, Finance, ClinApps, etc.) to support program processes and performance, smoothly navigating inter-department complexities and competing priorities.
Capture performance data, evaluate outcomes, and strategically drive change management and solutioning.
Partner with Regional Directors, Program Supervisors, and others to ensure operational success.
Oversee system needs (EMR, procurement, billing, etc.) to support program health.
Manage manufacturer relationships to ensure smooth operations and issue escalation.

Education and Licensure RequirementsBachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of operations experience in healthcare.
Proven leadership experience and self-starter mentality.
Experience in managing project budgets and financials.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Schedule & LocationsPosition is predominantly remote but requires 15-25% travel to support center and clinic locations.
