Description:Purpose
Accountable for leading, guiding & directing the functional responsibilities within an area of assignment. Enable ministry-level or enterprise-wide functional strategy to address internal or external business & regulatory issues. Provide functional expertise & ensure fulfillment of performance & service standards. Responsible for consistent operating performance & achieving financial goals. Identifies, defines & solves complex problems that impact the management & direction of the business. Collaborates with Services Areas, Regions & Health Ministries to ensure consistency & integration of strategy & operations while maintaining awareness of new industry developments & standards. Provides decision support, operations & / or optimization leadership focus.

Oversee Vendor / Contract Labor Management including centralizing strategy & optimizing spend.

Strategic Support & Accountability:

Collaborates in system-wide strategy development & deployment of functional area priorities & initiatives.

Responsible for supporting regional efforts to comply with functional area priorities.

Accountable for the selection, evaluation & overall success of the functional leadership teams.

Organization-wide focal point for establishing functional strategies & governance over financials & staffing.

Accountable for communication between service area functional area, RHM & Region leaders.

Operational Delivery

Responsible for measuring & reporting KPIs / metrics &value delivery.

Providing advice, guidance & leadership for the colleague life cycle.

Maintains a Working Knowledge of applicable federal, state & local laws / regulations, Trinity Health Integrity & Compliance Program & Code of Conduct, as well as other policies, procedures & guidelines in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical & professional behavior & safe work practices.

Functional Role (not inclusive of titles or advancement career progression)

Manages the learning systems & training team and related projects and initiatives

Coaches, facilitates, and motivates the teams to create accountability for meeting quality and service level goals on a consistent basis. Removes barriers to achieve individual and group objectives. Responsible for all aspects of directing talent management including hiring, equipping colleagues with skill and knowledge, salary planning, operationalizing work, appraising performance, professional development, recognition, and coaching. Participates in establishing annual departmental goals, budget preparation & management. Suggests & initiates ongoing process improvement to departmental processes as needed to improve overall customer service, efficiency & exceptional communication.Ensures development & ongoing edits/changes to online knowledge articles, job aids, training, brochures, FAQ’s & other related written correspondence, documents & forms.Tracks and monitors key metrics, program data, benchmarking data, goal achievements and team results.  Refines and develops new reports to accurately reflect department progress, work/task volumes.   Creates appropriate reports or dashboards to present to leadership.

Training Strategy & Program Management:

Lead a team of LMS administrators, training consultants, and content creators to deliver high-impact learning experiences.Develop and implement a scalable training strategy for both HRSS teams and end users across the organization.Design learning solutions that enhance system proficiency, support self-service adoption, and improve the effectiveness of HRSS operations.Align training programs with organizational change initiatives, specifically related to Workday Help, Journeys, and Knowledge tools.Champion a culture of continuous learning by leveraging data, feedback, and performance metrics to refine training content and delivery.

Strategic Leadership:

Collaborate with HR and business leaders to ensure learning programs support organizational goals and system-wide adoption of HR tools.Ensure content and knowledge platforms are accessible, current, and effective in supporting end-user needs.Utilize analytics and reporting to measure learning impact and identify areas for improvement.

Team Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration
 

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Five + years of experience in training, learning & development, knowledge management, HR technology training or 3+ years of leadership experience.Experience developing working systems, standard operating procedures, training teams or LMS administration.Experience in HR Shared Services or HR system training, preferably in a healthcare or large complex organization.

Additional Qualifications (nice to have)

Master’s DegreeTwo+ years of leadership experience preferredTwo+ years LMS administration.Certifications: Workday certification in relevant modules (Workday Help, Journeys, Learning) is a plus. Instructional design, training, or change management certifications (e.g., ATD, CPTD, Prosci) are also beneficial.Workday training experience is highly preferred.

Hourly pay ranges: $46.31 - $69.46
