Remote Lead Engineer - WalkMe and Agentic AI

Insight Global is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join the Innovation Team of a large healthcare client. As a lead software engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality Automation software that meets business needs with a focus on Agentic AI and WalkMe. You will lead a team to build highly scalable WalkMe services, service driven systems and real time streaming pipelines. 50% of the time will be spent supporting WalkMe while the other 50% is supporting Agentic AI.
We are seeking a strategic thinker who can identify a vision and implement plans to meet end goals, evaluating situations, decisions, and issues in the short, medium, and long term.The role involves conducting research on emerging technologies, design principles, and development frameworks to ensure software solutions remain current and future-proof. The candidate will provide technical guidance in software design and development activities and participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including code review, ensuring developers build scalable solutions with high quality. They will translate business requirements into clear technical specifications for development, write clean, scalable, and maintainable code using best practices and design patterns, and mentor junior team members to develop their technical skills. Additionally, the candidate will provide recommendations for continuous improvement and develop scalable, robust software solutions using WalkMe, RPA, API Services, SoapUI, and Agentic AI.
