REMOTE - Key Account Manager (50% Travel)
Job Description Insight Global is currently seeking a Sales Engineer / Account Manager to join a steel manufacturing client that is expanding their technical delivery of steel powder across North America. In this role you will be responsible for visiting client sites and driving technical discussions to sell raw steel powder across several industries including, automotive, OEMs, Energy, and Defense. This position can sit remote in the US but will require up to 50% travel across the North America (US, CAN, MEX) to be on-site with customers. You will also be required to meet with defense customers to discuss the applications of the steel powder. Skills and Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering OR a Materials Science related field  - Eligible to obtain a DoD Security Clearance  - Strong understanding of steel powder or metal powder and the applications for steel powder  - Understanding of 3D printing and how to use steel or metal powder in 3D Printing  - Experience selling off the shelf metal powder to technical directors and purchasing teams  - Experience understanding client needs to sell the uses of metal powders    Experience making recommendations to the customer regarding material uses - Prior experience working on a defense contractor or for a defense contractor (highly preferred) null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
