Newsweek Recognizes Sedgwick as America’s Greatest Workplaces National Top Companies Certified as a Great Place to Work® Fortune Best Workplaces in Financial Services & Insurance (Remote) Director National Technical Compliance - Casualty **PRIMARY PURPOSE** : To provide legislative, regulatory information and training to operations and account management and to serve as subject matter expert for workers' compensation matters. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES** + Assists the casualty practice lead in supporting sales and account management. + Serves as casualty technical resource. + Assists with the development and/or revision of casualty service expectations. + Develops and operationalizes specific state strategies to address casualty issues and challenges. + Provides technical consultation to customers and prospects. + Researches technical questions or issues involving casualty matters. + Provides communication to colleagues relative to jurisdictional changes, carrier requirements. + Identifies jurisdictional issues and develops and implements action plans. + Handles carrier and client technical issues as assigned. + Supports and provides assistance for company initiatives. + Works with management in designing training modules and in scheduling training. **ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES** + Performs other duties as assigned. + Supports the organization's quality program(s). + Travels as required. **SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES** + Administers company personnel policies in all areas and follows company staffing standards and training recommendations. + Interviews, hires and establishes colleague performance development plans; conducts colleague performance discussions. + Provides support, guidance, leadership and motivation to a team of up to 10 individuals to promote maximum performance. **QUALIFICATIONS** **Education & Licensing** Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Professional designation or equivalency such as AIC, CPCU or ARM preferred. **Experience** Ten (10) years experience in project management or related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Experience managing national initiatives strongly preferred. For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is (95,492.00 - 133,689.00) USD annual salary. Commission eligible role.
