We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with a strong foundation in business analysis and a solid grasp of complex data environments. This role requires someone who is not only comfortable working with data but also capable of investigating, interpreting, and clearly communicating data-driven insights to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories.Profile and document data to convey meaning as a foundation for data interpretation. Investigate complex datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities.Work closely with data teams to ensure data quality, consistency, and usability.Develop and present clear, actionable insights using data visualization tools.Support data-driven decision-making by providing detailed analysis and recommendations.Participate in solution design and testing to ensure business needs are met.Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.Required Skills & Qualifications:Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a data-rich environment.Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies (e.g., BABOK, Agile, etc.).Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.Strong documentation skills, including data specifications and business requirements.Proficiency in working with complex datasets and data structures.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to investigate, interpret, and describe data clearly and accurately.Experience with data tools such as SQL, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in data modeling or working with data warehouses.Familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks.Background in a domain with complex data (healthcare, health insurance/payer, or population data a plus).IQVIA is a leading global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights, and healthcare intelligence to the life sciences and healthcare industries.
