We're one global team driven by our common purpose to deliver a better world. **Join us and be a game-changer.** **Job Description** AECOM is seeking highly motivated Remediation Engineer with specific experience in design, installation, operation and maintenance of remediation systems for contaminated soil & groundwater. Our teams work on complex remediation projects, pulling the right resources from across the company to support project needs. The appointed person will be expected to have key role in the team, with the below responsibilities: + Contribute to overseeing remediation projects from beginning to completion; + Support in managing and developing remediation proposals and projects covering all environmental aspects, associated regulations, and staffing requirements; + Conducting remedial alternatives analysis; + Overseeing project budget and cost-benefit analyses; + Coordinating and appointing subcontractors; + Implementing the remediation proposals and handling all technical aspects; + Performing generic and detailed quantitative risk assessment; + Carrying out site work, including setup and commissioning of treatment systems; + Ensuring all parties meet compliance with environmental regulations; + Obtaining the necessary permits involved in the remediation project; + Training staff on how to use and implement remediation systems; + Compiling technical reports, daily logs, and soil water, and chemical audits; + Build sustainable relationships to meet our business development goals; + Contribute to the continuous improvement of our services and team by evaluating project successes and challenges and sharing lessons learned to enhance performance within the business; + Apply and encourage a high level of health and safety awareness and quality management at all times; + Ensure effective communication with the project team and clients.
