About the role:
The Dev Language team manager is a critical role at FIS. This team support both client-facing and internal Product development and roadmap projects. The manager of this team will handle administrative activities related to project planning and execution, along with oversight for a staff of 8-10 FTE’s.
A growth area for the team, and a key facet for the manager is the ability to automate and innovate the “day in the life” experience of the team. This process is a mature process, completed using a legacy software tool that would benefit from integration of AI or automation in many steps of the workflow. The manager will leverage the competency within the team to help identify and deliver optimization and efficiency gains.

Florida, T-W-TH in office
Georgia, 2 days in office

About the team:
Currently, the team is constructed of 10 FTE’s, equally split between a group that handles the language development and interpretation of needed changes to Retirement Plan documents and the technical writers that ensure the updates and changes align with IRS and ERISA standards and project requirements. The team is primarily based in Jacksonville, Florida with a couple of remote employees. As the team grows, we expect those hires to be placed in the Jacksonville office as well.
What you will be doing:
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Coordinate and oversee client-funded Relius Document projectsPartner with internal Product and Development teams to fulfill the FIS Product roadmapProcess administrative activities including, time sheet and vacation request processing, management reporting and staffing reviewsParticipate in strategic assessments and reviews of innovation and process optimization opportunitiesIdentify and implement AI or automation tools that streamline the project workflowWhat you bring:
1–3-year experience as either a senior individual contributor or Supervisor/Team Leader/ManagerFirm understand of Retirement Plan Documentation processKnowledge of process for IRS and DOL submissions and review of Plan Restatement projectsExperience 2-5 years total experienceRequired work hours: 8am – 5pm Monday - FridayOvertime required: yes, but not regularlyWeekends required: Not on a regular basis, but as requiredTravel percentage for this role:
