VCA Appalachian Animal Hospital in Ellijay, GA, is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Relief Veterinary Assistant to join our fun, supportive team!

This flexible, as-needed position is perfect for someone who wants to learn new skills, support a great team, and gain experience across multiple areas of hospital operations. You’ll step in to help when our team members are out on vacation, leave, or sick days. Duties will include:

Assisting in exam rooms with patients and clients

Working at the front desk to greet clients, answer phones, and schedule appointments

Helping with kennel care, including walking, feeding, and cleaning

Requirements:

Open availability to work as needed during our business hours:

Monday, Tuesday, Friday: 7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Wednesday & Thursday: 7:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Closed Sunday
