The Reliability Leader, Lubrication Supervisor/Planner, is responsible for promoting the Oil & Lubrication program cross departmentally in the Mill. Primary responsibilities will include planning and supervision of the hourly lubrication technicians, and the administration of all duties within the Oil & Lubrication program. Additional responsibilities for the Reliability Leader include collecting and analyzing data from lubrication routes, oil sample analysis, etc. to identify and assist in maintenance repairs to the equipment and facility, seeking opportunities to improve reliability of the assets, creating preventative maintenance plans, promoting the detection of equipment failures through predictive maintenance, and serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for other WestRock sites and external vendors.
HOW YOU WILL IMPACT WESTROCK
Support the Oil & Lubrication program to continuously improve equipment availability and uptime, maximize production, and reduce maintenance costsPlan predictive and preventive maintenance activities to support the strategy, vision and core values of the Reliability Maintenance and Maintenance DepartmentsCollect and analyze costs for lubrication supplies (oil, grease, filters, etc.), equipment and facility repairs to identify opportunities to reduce maintenance costsCollect oil samples, including turbine oil samples, on identified equipment throughout the mill for further analyses by Exxon Mobil and Shell to provide reports and feedback on oil quality/health as part of our preventative maintenance program. Additional follow is required to review and address issues identified from the oil sample analyses, including the planning and execution of work to be performed (i.e. oil changes) Conduct daily safety meetings with the lubrication technicians and participate in all Safety Programs to promote and ensure a safe work environment.Plan and schedule lubrication technician coverage throughout the mill to ensure all areas of the mill are covered. This includes both daily routine work and outage activities.Review and verify time in the Workforce program for the lubrication technicians for payroll purposesOversee the Oil and Lubrication Route Program through the implementation of the DMSI and MAINTelligence platform (electronic route system), including any follow up required from the feedback provided by lubrication technicians to create notifications, work orders, or orders parts for repairs within SAPCoach and train lubrication technicians to enable performance excellencePlan/schedule training and continuing education opportunities for lubrication technicians and other Reliability personnel to enable development and enhance technical skills and knowledge with the oil and lubrication program (i.e. MLT Training)Develop and implement predictive maintenance measures to increase the lifespan of assetsSupport and maintain the auto luber program mill wide, including the management of and writing of PMs. This includes auto luber program for motors (Memolub)Maintain oil and grease inventories through the partnership of the Storeroom and PMIOrder parts and equipment to replenish inventories required to complete additional lubrication work activities and repairs (i.e. filters, fittings, hoses, dehydrators)Serve as an oil and lubrication Subject Matter Expert (SME) to WestRock facilities and external vendors to support operating excellenceAssure the implementation of industry best practices for equipment inspection and repairWork collaboratively with the Maintenance and Production teams to facilitate and resolve oil and lubrication issues and enable operating efficiencyPartner with the Maintenance and Production teams to support, educate, and promote oil & lubrication program buy-in throughout the facilityWork collaboratively with the Plant management (i.e. Maintenance Superintendent, Reliability Superintendent) and Core Teams (i.e. OMCs, Planners, Supervisors) to ensure critical job orders are resolvedParticipate in other Reliability Maintenance activities, initiatives, and projects, including Root Cause Failure Analysis events. This includes collaboration and team work with members of the Reliability Maintenance staff (Reliability Engineers, Vibration Technicians, Reliability Leaders, Reliability Superintendent)Responsible that all employees understand and utilize all safety requirements of job functions; in addition to use all required PPE during job tasks. Position requires full knowledge of safety requirements and ensure compliance and accountability. Working knowledge all safety procedures (including LOTO, fall protection, confined space entry, hot work and JHA for each position, proper guarding, seat belts, dock locks, etc.). Employee must follow standard work procedures and safe work.

Required: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or degree in Engineering TechnologyPreferred: 5 to 6 years of work experience in Maintenance ManufacturingPreferred: Lubrication practices work experiencePreferred: MLT-1 certification or the equivalentPreferred: Good working knowledge pumps, gearboxes, motors, filtration systems, etc.Preferred: Root Cause Failure Analysis Training Candidates are required to undergo a drug screening after receiving a conditional job offer, but before starting employment.
