**About the Role:**
As a CBRE Reliability Engineer, the job requires a maintenance specialist to manage the upkeep of mechanical equipment and fixed assets, tackle problems, and develop risk management plans. The ideal candidate has 4-5 years of experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong organizational skills. They must be able to work independently and make judgments based on multiple sources of information.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
**What You’ll Do:**
+ Define, build, develop, monitor, and refine an asset's maintenance plan. Provide technical support to the site for mechanical equipment and fixed assets.
+ Work with engineering and operations teams to perform the evaluation of assets.
+ Develop risk management plans that will anticipate reliability-related and non-reliability-related risks that could adversely impact plant operations.
+ Fix, diagnose, and restore routine technical service and equipment problems.
+ Identify faults and symptoms using established processes and procedures.
+ Ensure all established policies and procedures are maintained. Maintain documentation of routine maintenance schedules, system configurations, applications, and technical reference materials.
+ Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and offer creative ideas.
+ Mentor others and share in-depth knowledge of own job subject area and broad knowledge of several job fields within the function.
+ Solve sophisticated problems by taking a new perspective on existing solutions.
+ Exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
+ Impact a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams.
+ Work within broad guidelines and policies.
+ Explain difficult or sensitive information and work to build consensus and convinces to reach agreement.
**What You’ll Need:**
+ High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma or equivalent experience with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Prior shift leader or supervisory experience preferred.
+ Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
+ Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
+ Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
+ Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Organizational skills with a sophisticated inquisitive attitude.
+ Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly sophisticated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

_CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Reliability Engineer position is $80k and the maximum salary is $110k annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
