Job Description
This role will support the R&D, Test Engineering, and Warranty teams in assisting in design for reliability, creating test parameters for reliability, and performing data analysis on warranty information to assist in future modeling.
ResponsibilitiesAssist design engineers in design for reliability principles.Create testing parameters surrounding temperature, humidity, vibration, and other reliability standards.Use experience with statistical analysis to interpret field and lab data to assist in financial decisions for reliability.Design experiments in the testing lab.Perform data collection and analysis.Perform root cause analysis on equipment failures to improve reliability standards.Provide exposure to PCBA, HALT testing, and failure analysis.Essential SkillsProficiency in reliability engineering and electrical engineering.Experience with PCBA and failure analysis.Knowledge of Altium and Ansys software.Ability to conduct HALT testing and design experiments.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in an engineering field or Physics, with a preference for Electrical Engineering.Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical components or reliability space.Experience related to lighting is ideal.Familiarity with Wible++ or similar experience.Work Environment
The role is primarily desk-based, supporting test plan creation, and may occasionally involve hands-on work. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $160000.00/yr.
