This position is for a Reliability, Maintainability, & System Health Engineer working in Huntsville, Alabama  At Boeing, our Engineers use their expertise to create innovative next generation capabilities for a wide variety of amazing aerospace platforms and products. The engineer is expected to execute Reliability, Maintainability, & System Health Engineering, including but not limited to:

Implementing a full up Failure Reporting and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) program including weekly Failure Review Board (FRB) meetings with customers.Analyze customer provided requirements and develop a reliability engineering program to achieve customer reliability objectives.Allocate top level reliability quantitative requirements to design teams. Performs reliability predictions to track performance.Analyze projected product utilization and calculates cumulative effect on final system reliability of individual part reliabilities.Perform failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA and FMECA) and formulates mathematical models, to identify items posing excessive failure and safety risks and support proposed changes in design.Develop computer models and uses the results to analyze, predict and adjust design to maintain and/or improve system reliability.Active participant on design teams, provides guidance and recommendations to designers and management to ensure reliability objectives are met.Interface with the customer and management at major design review meetings to provide reliability findings and recommendations.Determine test profiles for units requiring environmental type testing and specifies specific objectives of the tests and defines successes criteria.Provide inputs to proposals for submittals to customers. Review subcontractors' proposals for reliability program and submits evaluation for decision.Review engineering specifications and drawings, proposing design modifications to improve reliability within cost and other performance requirements.Provide technical support to various Weapons programs including PAC-3, Small Diameter Bomb (SDB), and Joint Direct Attack Munitions (JDAM).

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. A final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.Associate Level 2: Typically, 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualificationsExperienced Level 3: Typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualificationsExperience with RM&SH engineering principles (RM&SH requirements, predictions and performance)Experience with Failure Reporting, Analysis and Corrective Action System (FRACAS)Experience with performing failure analysisCollaborate with cross-functional teams at multiple organizational levels in dynamic, fast-paced environmentExperience with Microsoft Office Tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.Great communications and writing skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Experience using the Systems Engineering V implementing a System onto a productSystem Engineering requirements and verification experience.Able to lead by influence outside formal reporting relationships2+ years of Reliability, Maintainability, and System Health experience2+ years of working experience in Failure Mode Effect Analysis, Reliability & Maintainability Predictions, and/or Reliability Testing activitiesMaster’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Systems Engineering or related disciplines.

Summary pay range, level 2: $ 81,600 - $ 110,400

Summary pay range, level 3: $ 97,750 - $ 132,250
