Release Train Engineer

Responsibilities

Plans and facilitates Agile Release Train activities, including PI planning, coach syncs, system demos, and inspect & adapt eventsMaintains JIRA and other information radiators for the ARTCollaborates with customers and end users to understand business requirementsActs as a liaison between development teams and product management, ensuring that appropriate project process is madeIdentifies and resolves impediments that slow development or prevent the ART from meeting established goals or milestonesMotivates teams to perform and ensures teams are collectively responsible for all aspects of the committed work (analysis, development, testing, documentation, etc.)Provides reports based on ART capacity and how the ART is preforming against capacityCoaches and teaches lean-agile skills to members of the ARTWorks independently under limited supervisionCreates budgets, capacity plans, roadmaps, and forecastsRequired SkillsRecognized as a Subject Matter Expert in SCRUM and SAFeHas expert knowledge of Scrum, SAFe, and other lean-agile frameworksSAFe RTE (Release Train Engineer) Certification or SAFe Practice Consultant CertificationProficiency with Jira, Confluence, and data visualization tools such as Qlik Sense and Power BIDemonstrable experience using metrics: velocity, throughput, cycle time

Preferred Skills

Experience with Monte Carlo simulations

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or commensurate level of experience. Additional experience in lieu of formal education will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Security Clearance Level: Secret with the ability to obtain TS/SCI

Location: On Customer Site
