Release Engineer-Typescript/Node
Job Description Insight Global is looking for 2 Release Engineers to help Automate Mobile release process. This is a critical role, that will be broken up into 2 main focus areas. This is a chance to join a team focused on a core initiative of a large global Fin tech company. AWS Focus: Goal: Enable on-demand pre-production environments to support CI testing and improve overall deployment reliability. Key Deliverables: -Refactor existing CDK stacks to support multiple deployable environments (e.g., dev, pre-prod, prod). -Build and document an isolated pre-prod testing environment integrated with CI workflows. -Implement tooling and automation to streamline environment Cloud Developer TypeScript Goal: Extend our event-driven AWS services and GraphQL API to support internal developer automation and observability use cases. Key Deliverables: -Implement new services and event handlers using TypeScript and AWS Lambda. -Extend our GraphQL data layer to support evolving feature needs. -Write clean, testable code that aligns with existing architecture and standards. -Collaborate with full-time engineers on design and integration. Skills and Requirements -Advanced experience with TypeScript and Node.js. -Strong background with AWS Serverless (Lambda, SQS, EventBridge, S3). -Experience with GraphQL (Apollo Server, schema-first development). -Familiarity with DocumentDB or MongoDB, and DynamoDB. -Experience building internal tools and working in event-driven systems. -Unit/integration testing using tools like Jest. -Familiarity with GitHub Webhooks, CI pipelines, and API security best practices. -Proficiency with AWS CDK (TypeScript). -Experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, ECS/Fargate, VPC Networking. -Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Harness. -Strong proficiency in monitoring/alerting using tools like DataDog or CloudWatch. -Familiarity with Secrets Management (e.g., AWS Secrets Manager). null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
