What is the opportunity?

As a Relationship Manager Financial Solutions, you will be part of a great RBC community of colleagues who share an interest in helping clients thrive and communities prosper. Your focus will be on retaining and growing an assigned portfolio of high value and affluent clients through deepening of existing client relationships and onboarding new clients referred by other RBC partners and existing portfolio clients. You will deepen client loyalty through discovery conversations to learn about your clients and their families with the ability to provide expert advice to meet their immediate and future financial needs. Your ability to develop relationships with partners both internal and external partners is crucial to your success, particularly within the community, and Centers of Influence.

What will you do?

Retain and grow a portfolio of high value and affluent clients assisting the full branch team in attracting, nurturing, and growing client relationships, participating in advice events and supporting community eventsDeliver an exceptional client experience, providing advice and solutions to meet clients’ immediate and future needs drawing on your expertise in the areas of everyday banking, credit solutions and investments, maximising every client opportunity to learn more about them and their familiesCreate and execute a robust contact management strategy to connect with clients regularly to discuss financial needsYou are an RBC ambassador to your family, friends, and communities we serve. You use, educate, and demonstrate to our clients and employees, RBC’s Multi-Channel & Digital solutions. You are a role model/mentor to branch employees/colleaguesManage risks by adhering to compliance routines, processes, and controls to protect client and shareholder interests when doing business with clients

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

Demonstrated passion for exceptional client experience, providing advice and solutions to meet clients’ needsAbility to deepen and develop client relationships that will generate client loyalty, sales opportunities, and referralsMinimum 2 years’ retail lending experience and proven ability to provide the right credit solutions to meet client needsStrong verbal and written communication skillsUniversity degree in Business, Finance, Banking, or equivalent qualifications (consideration will be given to individuals pursuing a degree)
