We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales/Relationship Manager preferably strong background in banking and trade finance to manage and grow a portfolio of corporate clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining long-term relationships, identifying client needs, and offering tailored financial solutions related to trade finance products such as letters of credit, bank guarantees, and structured finance instruments.

Key Responsibilities

Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities through cold calling, referrals, partnerships, etc. Act as the primary point of contact for client interactions, addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback professionally and in a timely manner. Understand client requirements and propose tailored trade finance solutions. Ensure proper onboarding of new clients, including documentation, KYC, compliance, and operational setup. Identify opportunities to cross-sell and promote additional trade finance instruments or services to existing clients. Escalate complex matters to senior management and coordinate with relevant departments until resolution. Maintain an updated sales pipeline with detailed stages, client status, expected closures, and follow-up actions. Submit regular sales reports in line with company policies, procedures, and reporting schedules. Collaborate with internal teams to support deal execution, participate in team meetings, and provide constructive client feedback. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Reporting Manager.

 

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Banking, Business Administration, or a related field. 3–5 years’ experience in a sales or relationship management role, preferably within a bank or trade finance institution. Proven ability to manage high-value client relationships and generate new business opportunities. Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
