Key Responsibilities: * Prepare and post journal entries related to ceded reinsurance transactions * Compile supporting documentation and work papers for journal entries and audits * Conduct variance analysis to identify and explain fluctuations in ceded premiums and expenses * Interpret reinsurance treaties and apply appropriate accounting treatment * Assist in preparing ceded cash disbursements and perform light analytics * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth system integration and data migration * Support the implementation of new reinsurance systems and workflows * Maintain compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
