We will count on you to:
Support senior analytics professionals in delivering actuarial and financial modelling consulting services to external clients (i.e. insurance companies or reinsurers) and internal clientsInterpret and analyse client underwriting information to assist brokers in marketing and evaluating reinsurance programsInterpret clients’ catastrophe modelling results and provide advice on catastrophe risk managementDesign, price and evaluate reinsurance structures from an actuarial perspectiveConduct Dynamic Financial Analysis for different reinsurance structure of clientAssist in developing internal actuarial tools to streamline the analysis processEstablish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clientsPerform other job-related duties as assignedWhat you need to have:
Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science or related quantitative field such as Mathematics or StatisticsGood actuarial exam progress is a plus2-5 years of experienceAnalytical aptitude as demonstrated through academic experience or work assignmentsStrong ability to assist manager in prioritizing workloads according to volume, urgency, etcGood analytical and problem solving skillsGeneral knowledge of insurance and business principles, reinsurance will be a plusGood interpersonal skills for establishing and maintaining good client, reinsurer and internal relationshipsProficient in Microsoft Office and Visual Basic programming languageProficient in programming language such as R and python is a plusProficient in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, both verbally and written.Why join our team:
