The Rehabilitation Services Supervisor, under the direction of the Manager, plans, organizes and sets priorities of day-to-day operations
to meet department goals and objectives. Supervise, mentor and motivate rehab staff to ensure
quality and safety of employees, patients and visitors. Balances supervisory responsibilities in
order to provide direct patient care.
ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Provides direct patient care, according to the standard outlined in the appropriate clinical job description, including all age-specific criteria.
2. Supervises, assists and trains clinical and support staff.
3. Prepares and monitors daily staffing schedules, adjusting in accordance with patient care volume.
4. Conducts annual performance review process for all staff, participates in decisions regarding hiring and performance improvement actions.
5. Orients new team members.
6. Reviews and confers with department management on procedural and/or policy changes.
7. Demonstrates awareness of safety standards for self and assigned area. Executes environment of care rounds to ensure safe environment for staff and patients.
8. Ensures routine processes are in place to maintain appropriate inventory of supplies.
9. Monitors budget performance to maintain positive performance.
10. Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements.
11. Completes special projects as requested.
12. Responsible for all other duties as assigned.
Education: Associate degree in PT or OT
Skills: Ability to work on leadership team. Ability to organize own work and work of others.
Ability to give direction, delegate duties, communicate and respond to inquiries. Requires effective
interpersonal skills.
Years of Experience: 5 years clinical experience
License: Licensed in the State of Ohio and/or Michigan
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s degree in PT,OT, SLP or related health care administration
