The ideal candidate will also possess the following\:Experience working with individuals with mental health issues, dual diagnoses, behavioural challenges, chronic pain, or addictionsStrong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills, including managing challenging behaviours (e.g., aggression, elopement, inappropriate conduct)Ability to work independently, take direction, and collaborate effectively with a teamWillingness and ability to perform personal care, medication assistance, ADLs, administrative tasks, light cleaning, advocacy, and therapy implementationExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPhysically capable of bending, stretching, and lifting Highly organized with the ability to complete tasks within set timeframesProficient with computers and secure email systems
