Regulatory Team Manager (Hybrid Schedule)
The Regulatory Manager II is a part of the Shared Services Regulatory team which provides operational support to UMB's fast growing Corporate Trust and Institutional Custody departments. Within the Shared Services environment, this team interacts with various UMB clients and internal partners to evaluate and process requests for the onboarding of new business, provide subject matter expertise and other duties as assigned. With our robust training to provide extensive UMB and financial knowledge, the team provides a high level of service to our internal & external partners. As the Regulatory Manager II, you will provide supervision for daily regulatory activities. You will be responsible for ensuring staff is properly developed to carry out their daily responsibilities and effectively service business partners. You will interact with associates through formal and informal means to develop a productive, engaged workforce while developing controls that reduce risk to the organization. Provide a high level of expertise to business partners and help them provide the unparalleled customer experience to UMB customers. The Shared Service team is about creating strong connections amongst its associates to develop and maintain a positive working experience. Associates are supported and encouraged to work with their manager to develop roadmaps for opportunity within Shared Services and beyond. **How you’ll spend your time:** · You will use your people management skills to effectively manage and develop a high performing team of 5-10 associates. · You will be responsible for the oversight of regulatory filings required under federal securities laws, including Schedule RC-T, TIC Form SLT, SHC, & SHC(A). You will also oversee the escheatment process as well as monitoring and reporting on regulatory initiatives promulgated by various regulatory agencies. · You will develop and implement department controls, processes, and policies and ensure staff is properly developed to carry out their daily responsibilities and effectively service business partners. **We are excited to talk with you if:** + If you possess at least five years of experience in regulatory or bank operations or three years of banking experience and an associate’s degree. + Demonstrated knowledge of banking concepts, terminology, and processes. + Demonstrated exceptional verbal and written communication skills. + Demonstrated the ability to independently resolve complex issues + Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a team of 5 to 10 associates **Compensation Range:** $57,760.00 - $124,170.00 _The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMB’s standard for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors.
