JOB SUMMARY:
Research, compile, analyze, and provide support for regulatory filings related to new and emerging technologies, supports the development of innovative regulatory recovery strategies and new pricing mechanisms (including for large customer rate determinations and new customer options), utilizes quality assurance/peer reviews, provides documentation and analysis of rate issues, consults appropriately with other organizations within the Company, supports rate case and policy development as directed by management.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate will have a broad knowledge of and recent experience in one or more of the following:
utility operations, analytical methods, and techniques employed in revenue requirement, allocations, and cost of service; rate design techniques, bill frequency and bill impact analysis; electric usage characteristics and parameters such as units of measure and the impacts of those on the utility’s operation; and business requirements of internal departments concerned with customer data, such as Utility Pricing & Analysis, Regulatory Strategy, Regulatory Affairs, System Planning, Finance, Accounting and the requirements of external regulatory agencies.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum education required of the position
Bachelor's degree in Math, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent work experience. MBA or master’s degree in relevant field preferred.Minimum experience required of the position
Regulatory Analyst III – 2-3 years Regulatory Analyst Sr – 3-5 years Regulatory Analyst Sr Lead – 7+ yearsMinimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position
Strong analytical skills. Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills. Strong attention to details. Self-starter and requires little or no supervision. Advanced PC skills utilizing Microsoft Office and other mainframe business applications. Strong ability to develop detailed spreadsheets required. Ability to perform detailed analysis and convert this analysis into a meaningful summary from which to make recommendations. Excellent organizational skills, ability to organize and prioritize work. Ability to work effectively on multiple assignments. Flexible and able to adjust to changing priorities. Effective oral and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting. Willing and able to perform other duties as required and learn new processes and technologies. Communicate clearly and confidently to diverse audiences in both formal and informal settings. Ability to prepare and deliver professional and engaging presentations. Comfortable speaking in front of small and large groups, both in-person and virtually. Ability to distill written or presented content into clear, concise, and accurate summaries tailored for various audiences.
