Role Overview

As the Product Compliance Leader for APAC & MEA, you will lead a team of 10–15 regulatory experts supporting country- and cluster-specific compliance across both regions. Your primary mission is to ensure the successful commercialization of Solenis’s chemical portfolio – including disinfectants and other regulated products – by driving regulatory compliance, strategic registrations, and cross-functional business alignment.

You will act as a key business partner to Marketing, Supply Chain, and R&D, and represent Solenis’s interests with regulatory authorities when necessary. This high-impact leadership role combines operational execution, people development, and strategic advocacy in one of the most dynamic and diverse regulatory landscapes globally.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Manage, develop, and optimize a team of 10–15 regulatory specialists across APAC & MEA; implement development plans and drive strong team performance.

Regulatory Strategy & Oversight: Ensure regional product registrations and compliance, with a focus on regulated formulations such as disinfectants.

Business Partnering: Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, and regional Business Clusters (e.g. SEA, MEA) to align on regulatory needs and enable successful product launches.

Stakeholder Representation: Serve as the voice of Regulatory Affairs on cluster leadership teams and global regulatory governance bodies.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Global R&D (e.g. BPR project team, Taski R&D, G&I, Engineering) to proactively manage future registration requirements and portfolio changes.

Regulatory Advocacy: Represent Solenis in dialogue with governmental agencies, promoting and protecting the company’s interests in complex or sensitive regulatory matters.

Oversight in Non-Represented Markets: Assume responsibility for regulatory activities in countries within APAC & MEA where no direct RA presence exists.

Profile of the Ideal Candidate

University degree in a scientific discipline (e.g. Chemistry, Regulatory Science, Life Sciences); an advanced degree is a plus.

Minimum 10 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs or Product Compliance, including regional leadership in a multinational context.

Deep knowledge of the regulatory environment in APAC and/or MEA, especially concerning chemical products and biocides/disinfectants.

Proven track record in people leadership and team development.

Strategic, future-oriented thinker with a proactive mindset and high level of business acumen.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to represent the company in external regulatory discussions.

Fluent in English; additional regional languages are an asset.

Willingness to travel within APAC and MEA as required.
