Regulatory Outsourcing Officer

In support of the needs of our growing business we are hiring a Cyber Security Manager who will be responsible for the cyber security of our IT platforms; both insourced and outsourceWhat does a successful Outsourcing Officer do?The Outsourcing Officer manages all significant work outsourced to external service providers, including internal outsourced services.What you will do:The outsourcing officer manages the monitoring and review of outsourcing within the FMPI organization.The role requires an understanding of the operational processes involved and needs to provide an ongoing evaluation of efficiencies and controls, including the implementation of process and process changes.High quality KPI monitoring and identification of proposed metrics for successful outsourcing controls and understanding where and when problems arise.Maintenance of an outsourcing inventory.Involvement with contract negotiations with service providers and coordination of the contract contents with the legal department, the risk manager and the data protection officer.Coordination of cross-service aspects of supplier management including optimization of the processes of the contract and supplier management.Managing planning and risk analysis of outsourced arrangements (including coordination and communication with other functions) including assessment of criticality and materiality of (planned) outsourcing.Preparation of risk analysis; identification, assessment and proposals for risk mitigation measures to manage conflicts of interest.Coordination of business continuity and exit strategy planning.Make recommendations as to whether to move outsourcing beyond the planning stage, and whether to pursue to signature a specific outsourcing arrangement.Re-evaluation of the risk analysis for particular outsourced functions.Ensuring compliance with the Outsourcing Program with regard to outsourcing agreements (in particular ensuring that mandatory outsourcing provisions are included in the outsourcing agreements)Ongoing management of outsourcing risk (including concentration risk).Preparation of outsourcing risk reports for other functions and the Executive Directors of the FMPI BoardCoordinating meetings to ensure that any shortcomings of outsourcing providers are correctly addressed.Maintaining the Outsourcing Register and raising awareness and providing training in respect to outsourcing.Ensuring that outsourcing processes implement the Record Retention Policy.Reviewing and suggesting amendments to the Outsourcing Program.Management and administration of the contract portfolio.Supervision of other departments in the design of exit strategies and KPIsSupporting the departments in designing monitoring and control measures annual status reports for outsourcing to management.Oversee and coordinate outsourcing as first line of defence control functionWhat you will need to have:Degree (e.g. business administration, economics, business law, law or comparable).Five plus years of professional work experience in comparable positions.Expertise in the field of of financial services companies.Knowledge of the drafting of contracts including SLAs and KPIs for service provider monitoring and control.Proven experience in IT service management.Strong conceptual and analytical skillsCommunication and influencing skills, and assertiveness.Financial savvy, results drivenAnalytical and commercial
