Regulatory Manager

Job Summary:
The Regulatory Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization’s adherence to legal standards,
regulatory compliance requirements, industry-specific requirements, as well as internal & external audit
activities, proactive regulatory risk assessment for the Tax Department and will report directly to the Tax
Director

Duties / Responsibilities:
1. Audit assessment and implementation of all required regulatory compliance filings.
2. Evaluate, design, and implement company processes and internal controls to enhance
compliance and reporting.
3. Audit customer tax collections and remittances to governmental authorities.
4. Ensure company-wide adherence and compliance with established regulations and
procedures.
5. Collaborate with Regulatory leadership to identify and lead ad-hoc strategic projects.
6. Oversee data requests from regulatory authorities.
7. Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders and senior management for continual
improvement of efficiency and effectiveness in decision making.
8. Provide data-based analysis and insights for strategic projects and ongoing tactical work.
9. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, Telecommunications or a
related field.
• Minimum five years of professional experience in regulatory or tax operations across
multiple disciplines.
• Advanced with Excel and other financial applications (Hyperion and SQL skills).
• Experience in the telecommunications or cable industry highly preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills (including public speaking) in English.
• Exceptional organizational skills and effective time management.
